ASSISI ANIMAL HEALTH CALMER CANINE™ Device + Vest
Around the world, 1 in 7 dogs suffers from separation anxiety or being overly attached to their owners. These furkids can become very sad when left alone at home, their anxiety can become panic and trigger the following reactions: incontinence, barking incessantly, breaking furniture or objects, and fleeing. Anxiety can have a huge impact on the lives of furkids and owners. To soothe their dogs' separation anxiety issues, some owners look for non-medicinal pet therapy treatments. For example, use, nutritional supplements, pheromones, and stabilization vests, but the effect varies from person to person, on the other hand, the effect is not long-lasting, so it is not an optimal method.
Calmer Canine™ by ASSISI ANIMAL HEALTH CALMER CANINE™ is a highly innovative, mild, effective, safe, and drug-free system for treating separation anxiety in dogs. Targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™) is used to stimulate the dog's anxiety center (amygdala) to restore the dog from anxiety to a stable calm state. It is a non-drug, anti-anxiety device that can be used at home.
Apply to the following symptoms:
- Excessive Greetings (overly whining, barking, pawing, or even urinating or biting when you return)
- Shadowing (being hyper-alert and insisting on always staying close to you)
- Excessive Vocalization (howling, whining)
- Destructive Behaviour (breaking, chewing, scratching, tearing, biting windows, doors, exits, etc.)
- Self-Harm ( chewing and licking their own toes, paws, legs, or tail)
- Anxious Panting (breathing fast, heavily, or loudly)
- Inappropriate Urination or Defecation (dogs never have accidents when people are around)
- Pacing (walking in circles or back and forth across the room in a non-stop manner)
- Watchful Waiting (sitting or standing by the door, staring out of the window without any resting)
- Rearranging Behaviour (moving household objects around without destruction)
User Guide:
- Calmer canine™ device uses low-level electromagnetic signals to target the fear and anxiety center in a dog’s brain. The vest holds the device properly above the dog’s head during treatments. Also can use it without the vest by hand over a dog’s head
- A full course of treatment lasts 4-6 weeks, with two 15-minute treatments per day. Make sure that each treatment was separated by 8-10 hours. The device will automatically turn off after 15 minutes of treatment. Pet's anxiety-related symptoms will be alleviating over time; such as whining or less barking, less pacing, more independence, and resting or playing while leaving alone
- The device uses battery CR123A and is replaceable when flat
Sizing:
Calmer canine™ Anxiety Treatment System includes a therapy device and a vest. The vest comes in 5 sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL). Please refer to below vest sizing chart:
Make sure to select the right vest size, can use a soft measuring tape to get measurements of the dog’s neck and chest area
The device comes in 2 sizes: 5 inches or 7 inches depending on the size of the vest needed. The 5-inch device is paired up with XS to M vests. The 7-inch device is enclosed with L to XL vests
How does the Calmer Canine Work (the science):
- tPEMF produced by the Calmer Canine device delivers a signal, which is targeted to the brain’s nerve cells. This causes the cells to produce more Nitric Oxide, an important molecule that stimulates cellular repair, as well as triggers anti-inflammatory responses
- Nitric Oxide prevents the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines or messengers, which are cell signaling molecules that trigger inflammation and make a disease worse. It also increases the number of anti-inflammatory cytokines or cell signaling molecules that reduce inflammation and promote healing. Additionally, Nitric Oxide promotes the creation of endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine- “feel good” hormones that produce positive feelings of happiness and relaxation
- As a result, there is a reduction in inflammation of the amygdala- the part of the brain that is in charge of fear and emotional responses, whereas an overactive and anxious brain is rebalanced and causes less anxiety in dogs
